Nicholas Keeney
Marine Data Specialist
Keeney joined the research team to implement the Pen Bay Marine Data Project.
He has designed ocean data and financial technology, built custom boats, farmed shellfish and seaweeds for food and carbon offsets, managed research labs, used supercomputers to draw conclusions from drunk fish, and operated offshore research vessels.
He enthusiastically champions marine experiential education as an alum of The Island School, Boston University Marine Program, and Sea Education Association.
Keeney is from Harpswell, but calls Rockland home.
